Assuming your are using Nuxeo DAM, you can put your existing images in a Zip file for transfer and import it all at once using the “Import” form of the user interface.

If you want to import metadata along with the image files them-selves then you are probably better off using the CMIS interface or the Nuxeo specific Automation API.
