org.nuxeo.ecm.core.api.model.PropertyException: Cannot set property on a version: notif:notifications

When trying to follow a published document , i'm getting the following error : org.nuxeo.ecm.core.api.model.PropertyException: Cannot set property on a version: notif:notifications. Am I missing some settings ? I'm not getting any error when following a document from Workspace. I'm using Nuxeo 7.10

This appears to be a call of updateAllSubscriptions on a proxy. Not sure how that's related to the publication you mention. Please provide a reproduction scenario.

I've created a document on my workspace ( you can try New document - File ) , i published it from the publish tab into a section. From the section, i've clicked on the file ( Summary) and when clicking on Follow document I'm getting the Exception above.

Thanks for the report, NXP-19380 has been created to track this.

It's not clear what is expected from a user that follows a published document, in the meantime I suggest you try to remove this button for proxies.
