There are many ways of reporting/monitoring your application's usage: through document's history, through Admin Center (statistics on documents type, size, numer of users, users' activity, technical monitoring, etc.). Furthermore, Nuxeo is pluggable to external reporting tools such as BIRT Reports.

Nuxeo's storage model (Visible Content Store, VCS) stores data in a clear way, with the storage backend of your choice (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, …). This allows you to use any reporting tool that supports those data sources, so you have plenty of choice in choosing your reporting tool between open-source (JasperReports, BIRT, etc) or proprietary solutions. We are offering a native integration tool with BIRT Reports.
