How to make the changes made by me in the Default Nuxeo UI persist?......Everytime I make some changes/create a new theme,it vanishes when the server restarts?

Make the changes you need inside the nuxeo WAR file, then you can rebuild the WAR file with eclipse or any other java editor.

When nuxeo restarts, it reads the WAR file. This is why your changes are not persistent.
